I am an artist with a passion for birds in general and gulls in particular, ever since I read my first bird book back in kindergarten. I was born in The Gambia in 1976 but have lived in southernmost Sweden most of my life. Besides having a number of exhibitions in Sweden I have illustrated three major volumes on Terns, Skuas & Jaegers and Gulls (with Klaus Malling Olsen). In 2021 the monumental "Seabirds, The New Identification Guide" (with Peter Harrison & Martin Perrow) was published after more than a decade of meticulous work. This volume features more than 90 of my plates, depicting Gulls, Terns, Skuas and Seaducks. Also, if you are in Stockholm – check out my illustrations on the info sign near The Royal Palace.
